We are looking for a backend developer with extensive skills in Node.js, Golang, and DevOps skills (CI/CD, Terraform, GCP) for the Customer Returns team to help build our new modern solution which will increase Customer satisfaction and make customer returns flow easier for our many customers and co-workers. We are building a customer self-service returns (parcel, express, and truck) and a co-worker returns management solution while breaking down dependency with an old legacy system. In order to achieve our goal, we will collaborate with many other teams. We practice DevOps principles.
An expert backend developer with extensive skills in:
- JavaScript/Node.js
- Golang and
- DevOps skills.
We are looking for a self-going senior/expert backend engineer, a “go-to guy” for our backend parts. You have to be open-minded, ready to get your hands dirty, take responsibility, and be a mentor for your less experienced teammates.
We are looking for increasing our skills in the team within CI/CD area so it’s important to see knowledge sharing as a natural part of your daily work. We are constantly looking for improvements in our efficiency and productivity, so we expect you to be the main person in addressing pain points and suggesting improvements. We also work closely with other teams within our subdomain and aim to streamline our CI/CD principles. Therefore good communication skills are required.
Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc
- Backend software engineer with 7+ years experience, driven and working independently. Skilled in CI/CD pipeline work.
- JavaScript/Node.js/Golang
- GitHub actions
- Cloud technologies – GCP
- Experience working with containers and containerized environments
- IaC (Terraform)
- OAS (open API specification)
- Good understanding of version control system
- Nice to have : event-driven architecture
